Sir, – I think it’s clear that Trevor White is not a fan of one of our most successful businessmen (“Are you right there, Michael?,” Opinion, June 19th).
Travelling to Valletta for Christmas 2024, I was bemused to see Michael O’Leary working at the Dublin Airport boarding gate while chatting amiably with his customers and posing for the occasional selfie.
As I made my way to the aircraft (without having had an alcoholic beverage), I thought: there’s an industry leader who knows how to play the game. Respect. – Yours, etc,
