Sir, – Last January on the first anniversary of Storm Éowyn the Government announced that every household would, in the coming weeks, receive a copy of the Government’s emergency plan with advice for individuals.
The “coming weeks” has mushroomed into the coming months. Is the impact of the Iran war not enough of an emergency on Ireland, with limited fuel and many motorways blocked? What other form of emergency does the Government anticipate and when will we receive this emergency booklet? – Yours, etc,
JOHN McKEOWN,
Waterford.
