Leinster

Reggie Corrigan will miss Leinster's final Interprovincial Championship match against Munster at Donnybrook on Friday night because of injury. The Lansdowne prop a strained the medial ligament in his knee during the European Cup victory over Northampton last weekend and will be sidelined for a couple of weeks.

Leinster coach Matt Williams may decide to switch the versatile Emmet Byrne to loosehead to facilitate the inclusion of Gary Halpin.

Brian O'Driscoll is doubtful with a neck strain and is unlikely to be risked if there is the slightest hint of discomfort. Eric Miller has a dead leg but he is expected to play. Leinster will confirm their team tomorrow.

Munster

Munster's injury situation is more serious with Mick Galwey, David Wallace and Alan Quinlan out of the Donnybrook match. Galwey damaged knee ligaments against Bath and will not be available for three weeks while Wallace picked up an ankle injury in the same match. Quinlan will miss the game because of a family bereavement.

It will allow coach Declan Kidney to blood squad players like Cork Constitution second-row Donnacha O'Callaghan, Colm McMahon and Mick O'Driscoll. Munster are set to announce their team tomorrow morning.

Ulster

Ulster coach Harry Williams is awaiting definitive medical reports on centre Jonathan Bell and wing Tyrone Howe, both of whom are nursing hamstring strains. Bell's is the more serious and he looks certain to miss Friday night's interprovincial against Connacht at Ravenhill.

Replacement scrumhalf Stephen Bell, who has been bothered by a calf problem for several weeks, could return to the bench in place of Neil Doak. Paddy Johns, who missed the Toulouse defeat, should be available following a neck complaint while number eight Tony McWhirter is recovering from a leg infection.

Connacht

Connacht have no injury problems and will also select tomorrow.
