Hibernian have confirmed they will unveil Terry Butcher as their new manager on Tuesday afternoon.
Butcher and Hibs chairman Rod Petrie will announce his appointment at 2pm at Easter Road. The former England international takes over from Pat Fenlon at the Edinburgh club.
The club confirmed less than 24 hours earlier that they had agreed a compensation deal with Inverness to bring the Englishman and assistant Maurice Malpas to Easter Road subject to personal terms being agreed.
Malpas will join Butcher at Easter Road after turning down the chance to step up to the main job at Caley Thistle.
Butcher looked on from the Easter Road stand on Saturday as Malpas led the visitors to a 2-0 win over his new club to move into second spot in the Scottish Premiership.
Hibs sit in seventh place in the league and have lost four games in a row.
Fenlon quit as manager halfway through that run following a League Cup defeat by Hearts and assistant manager Jimmy Nicholl took the team for defeats by Motherwell and Caley Thistle.
