UEFA Champions League NewsDeportivo La Coruna's Brazilian midfielder Mauro Silva has described Tuesday's UEFA Champions League clash with Shelbourne as the Spanish club's most important game of the season.

He also said he intended to play even if it meant aggravating an injury that has severely restricted his pre-season training.

"We will play the most important game of the season against Shelbourne and in the circumstances I am willing to take any risk to help the team," he said.

"There will be 15 days afterwards before we have another important match and that is plenty of time for me to recover," he added.
