Two-time British & Irish Cup champions, Leinster A continued their quest for a third consecutive title with a 59-26 win over Plymouth Albion at Donnybrook. Leinster led 40-7 at the interval and despite the one-sided nature of the contest it was a pleasure to watch the manner in which Girvan Dempsey's charges set about their task.

Jordan Coughlan, Aaron Dundon, Ben Marshall and Josh van der Flier were the pick of the forwards, while Cathal Marsh had another superb game at outhalf in a young backline full of talent.

Sam Coghlan Murray scored a hat-trick of tries, while Cian Kelleher, Billy Dardis and Garry Ringrose, the latter playing in his first A match for Leinster, looked lively throughout. The province's latest recruit, prop Nicholas van Dyk, made his debut as a half-time replacement having arrived in Ireland only last Wednesday.

Leinster will be joined in the quarter-final draw by Munster A, who beat former Ireland international centre Kevin Maggs' Moseley 35-13 with tries from Darren Sweetnam, Ned Hodson, David Johnston and Shane Buckley.
