Leinster A 23 Moseley 13

Holders Leinster made it five wins from five at Donnybrook on Friday night with second-half tries from Bryan Byrne, Luke McGrath and Andrew Boyle.

The tie was level until Moseley's Greg Charlton was binned for tackling Sam Coghlan-Murray in the air, outhalf Cathal Marsh taking advantage of the numerical superiority with penalties in the 32nd and 35th minutes.Moseley got back on terms when outhalf Will Hooley struck either side of the break.

Leinster lock Ben Marshall was binned for obstructing Alex Woolford and Moseley hit the front when winger Mike Penn touched down for Hooley's conversion to make it 13-6 in the 44th minute.

The response was swift, Leinster hooker Byrne grounding the ball at the rear of a maul with McGrath tearing away for a second try in four minutes to lead 16-13 in the 65th minute. Replacement wing Andy Boyle flew to the right corner for Marsh to kick the extras as Moseley were forced to defend.
