The All Blacks took to Bray seafront on Thursday morning, making a real splash for locals.
Continuing their preparations for Saturday’s international with Ireland at the Aviva Stadium, squad members braved the elements by taking to the icy waters.
Walkers on Bray seafront got a surprise opportunity to meet with the players whom many felt must be inspired with a love of swimming given the chilly conditions.
While this was a splash-hit for the lucky locals, the players were unable to take to the Fad Saoil Saunas which had just opened their doors on Bray seafront, as it was fully booked out. Fad Saoil Saunas have set up their Finnish style sauna at the harbour side of the Bray Promenade for one week only, offering free sauna sessions.
Winter swims can be challenging but the All Blacks seemed to enjoy their morning dip under Bray Head.
