All-Ireland Colleges SF A final Preview: Colm O'Rourke brings a strong St Patrick's Classical School team back to the All-Ireland Colleges football final for the first time since 2001 at Parnell Park today.
The smart money is on the Meath football nursery to make it three national titles in five years.
They worked their way back into the All-Ireland series, after a two-year hiatus, with a very impressive victory over Knockbeg CS in the Leinster decider.
They then beat Coláiste Críost Rí in the semi-finals, yet they go into today's game with very little knowledge of their Ulster opponents.
"I saw them in the Ulster final (against Monaghan CS) but we don't know much about them to be honest. We've never played them in challenge matches," said O'Rourke. "Anyway, we're just looking at our own team performance. That's all we need to sort out."
O'Rourke has made just one change from the semi-final, with Paddy Murray coming in for Kevin Mulvanney, who has a broken collar bone.
Their danger men are the same though and the Tyrone School will have to curtail the influence of Kevin Reilly and Cian Ward if they are to bring the title north.
Ciarán Donnelly ably leads the Dungannon College into battle, while Paul Forker and James Grimley are their other frontline performers.
The last time they won the competition was in 1997, when current inter-county stars Barry McGuigan, Ciarán Gourley and Armagh's Paul McGrane were a part of the line-up. Current trainer, Peter Aherne, was also a member of the 1997 side.
Their pedigree is certainly respectable but it will take a massive performance to stop the current crop from Meath.
