69 mins: Flynn hits a poor wide, Meath’s first of the second half, maybe should have tried to kill the game more. But Derry don’t take advantage as McGuigan off balance hits into the keeper’s hands. Then Killian Smyth gets what could be the insurance score.

64 mins: Derry look threatening for a goal again, so many players pouring forward, but it never quite sets up for it and Conall Higgins scores a point. Then win the breaking ball from the kickout but Sargeant misses a good chance.

58 mins: All of a sudden, Meath are five ahead, Costello this time. It was fitting though that Derry would immediately respond with a two-pointer. Murray with a great score to get back within three.

56 mins: Conlon goes for another as he weaves left and right but drops it short and McBride almost punches it in for a goal. Murray misses up the other end, and then Conlon doesn’t miss this time, another feint, and a sixth point of the game. Classic corner forward play.

51 mins: It’s end to end, McKinless gets a point and then Derry win the kickout and have a chance to move within one but the shot is well wide. Conlon then gets his fifth of the night, great turn of pace again and finish.

49 mins: Keogan puts Meath back ahead, and then Derry give away the ball sloppily and Morris punishes them as Meath go back in front. Derry will feel aggrieved not to have won a mark in the middle of the pitch before that.
Then Jack O’Connor scores as Meath put the foot down.

35 mins: This has been a sensational first half performance by Sargeant as he fields the ball high in the air, turns with pace and then shoots over just before the buzzer to level the scores.

A feisty and thrilling first half, the best match of the day so far. Will be interesting to see if anything comes of that fracas at the end, which hopefully doesn’t detract from the quality of the attacking playing on show. An example of it:
34 mins: McEvoy gets his second of the night after more tricky play by Sargeant for Derry. Meath win the kickout, but Derry close them out and turn it over.
Goal chance for Derry then, Murray was through but slipped, but in the end did well to find Forbes to tap over.

31 mins: What a point by Conlon, magician at work as he completely fools the defender with a dummy and then shoots it over to put Meath two ahead. Meath then win the kickout and Conlon scores again.

27 mins: Costello scores a long one-pointer to level the scores. Meath with the wind would hope to be going in ahead at half-time. A strong run and finish then by Menton to give Meath the lead.

60 mins: Two goals for Kerry! David Clifford gets one, Diarmuid O’Connor and that will be the end of that for Kildare in the championship.

This is quite the result in the Tailteann Cup. Fermanagh 2-24 Sligo 0-7, a 23-point win for the Ernesiders. They join Offaly, Down and Wicklow in the last four. We have wins for Dublin, Galway and Kerry in the women’s football championship, while in minor hurling, it was Limerick and Tipperary who will meet in the final after comprehensive victories over Galway and Cork respectively.
44 mins: It’s been a day of shocks, but hard to see another one in Newbridge as Kerry lead by 10 early in the second half. David Clifford, brother Paudie and Ó Beaglaoich scored, with Beirne for Kildare.

What about that second half performance by Monaghan then, blew the Rossies away into the wind. Roscommon were very poor and that’s them out of the championship in a season that promised so much more. An example of their great play in the second half:
Conor McCarthy won man of the match for scoring three points from play but it was a team effort. Dessie Ward also scored three points and Jack McCarron got a smooth seven points. He’s having a late career resurgence at just the right time. They go into a Round 3 draw which intriguingly now will have Donegal in it too.
Meanwhile, Kerry lead Kildare by eight points at half-time - 0-16 to 0-8.
70 mins: McAnespie scores straight off the bench, the Farney County are set for a famous win in Clones. The home fans are delighted.

Roscommon are the first team out of the championship in this stage! Monaghan progress to the next round after a brilliant second half performance.
68 mins: Garland puts the cherry on top it looks like with a curler that was well worked again. Roscommon have been out of sorts, where is the team that won the Connacht title?

66 mins: High tackle on Byrne by Smith gives him a yellow card not long after coming on. McCarthy, who has had a brilliant game from wing back, wins another scoreable free after flying through. McCarron converts.

64 mins: Monaghan are cutting through Roscommon at will, Woods this time bursting through to score. Roscommon have been listless this half, but all it takes is a few two-pointers or a goal to switch the mood. The bench are making a difference at least, the latest is Conor Hand to score.

62 mins: A classy score from a classy operator as McCarron scores off his right as the defence might have expected a shot from his left. McKeon goes up and scores, but Monaghan still leading by six as Enda Smith comes off the bench.

60 mins: This has been a masterclass so far by Monaghan of managing a game in the second half into the wind, slow play and Roscommon are a bit timid in their pressing. It all ends up with pacey McCarthy running through and scoring. Six-point lead.

23 mins: Finally a few different Kildare scorers - Darragh Kirwan and Alex Beirne - but Robinson scores another. Clifford for Kerry. But the Lilywhites are back within four.

57 mins: Ward splits the posts after a nice foot pass to find him in space for his third point of the day. Roscommon then go up the pitch and Ruane punches it wide.

55 mins: McCarthy went close as it looked like he curled it in from the left, but the umpire judges just wide. Roscommon sub Jack Duggan makes an immediate impact to score a point.

18 mins: Jack Robinson got his second for Kildare, but then Paul Geaney and Seán O’Brien got points to make it an eight-point lead.

52 mins: A slow attack by Monaghan, before again upping the pace, but then Bannigan to Mooney to McGorman, all the half forwards and they score in front of the goal.

12 mins: Jack Robinson gets Kildare’s first point of the day. But then Paudie Clifford scores a two-pointer.

50 mins: Monaghan certainly take a lot of shots, it’s another wide by Mooney, the 11th of the game, but they’ve still scored 1-12. The Rossies respond with a point by Ruane.

48 mins: A great spell for Monaghan here, they keep the ball for a while, and then wait until a free man appears. Who is McCarville, who strokes it over to make it a five-point lead.

44 mins: Ward kicks a big one into the wind to give Monaghan a four-point lead again, his second point of the match.

Kerry v Kildare is under way. Kerry have scored three points in the opening stages - Two-pointer by Joe O’Connor and a point by Graham O’Sullivan.
42 mins: Excellent point by Bannigan, after patient Monaghan play he bursts through past two or three players at pace and knocks it over. Then Murtagh descended on the Monaghan goal, but the Farney managed to keep him out.

39 mins: Roscommon being the half with a two-pointer by Diarmuid Murtagh, the wind will give them plenty of opportunities. Then Ruane scores to get within two.

A pause for breath then after a wild half-hour which saw Cork come from seven points down to beat Donegal in their 2A match. In case you were wondering, Donegal are not out of the championship, they will go into Round 3. But it’s a massive scalp for Cork, who will now get a rest and have secured a place in the quarter-finals. Sherlock scored an amazing nine points, fuelled by two-pointers.
34 mins: Eight wides for Monaghan now, Mooney misses and it’s a familiar problem after similar issues in their one point defeat to Mayo. Then another goal chance missed, fantastic save by Carroll from Mooney.
But then McCarron does the next best thing, an excellent two-pointer! From the 45 they expected Beggan to shoot but he plays it short to McCarron to score.

Monaghan lead by five points at half-time. Is it enough with the wind? It was a good comeback by the Farney in the latter stages of the half at least, and they will go into the dressingroom with momentum. But all to play for in Clones.
32 mins: Monaghan and Roscommon trade points, Heneghan and McCarthy, the Monaghan man uncontested for his as they up the gears with the wind. Then McCarthy is fouled after winning a high ball and Beggan has a chance to score from a free. But he hits it wide.

30 mins: Goal for Monaghan! Stephen Mooney scores a low and powerful shot as Monaghan streamed through on the counter after Wylie blocked a goal shot on the other end. Before that Conor McCarthy had scored a point and now Monaghan lead by three!

27 mins: Six wides for Monaghan with the wind, McGorman the latest to do so, but Monaghan win the kickout through McCarville, then an immediate kick into McCarron who finishes.

23 mins: Another poor start from Monaghan in Clones, as Murtagh scores a nice point from the left. But then more like it from the Farney, as Jack McCarron shows his range with an excellent two-pointer. That’s how quickly it can change.

73 mins: Cork try to see out the game with possession and then Corbett hits the post with his fist to give Donegal back the ball with just over a minute to go. Langan goes for a two-pointer... and misses. Will that be that?
71 mins: Sherlock finally misses a scoreable free to give Donegal a lifeline. Less than three minutes to play.
69 mins: Sub Turlough Carr had a chance to give Donegal the lead again but he hit the post and immediately speed up the pitch, then Donegal foul to give Sherlock a chance at a two-pointer.

43 mins: Point for Cork, worked the space well and then Seán McDonnell scores for Cork. But Donegal immediately respond, with Michael Langan scoring on his left after it was well worked up the pitch.

39 mins: A slow start to the second half, with Donegal recycling and moving the ball side to side to begin. Finally, a point for Donegal as Murphy gets his second point of the day, turning well and hitting it on his left after a long spell of possession.

The second half is under way, a very long half-time which will mean some overlap with the Roscommon v Monaghan game at 4.30pm.

In the Tailteann Cup, incredible comeback by Wicklow! They were four points down nearing the end, then a two-pointer by Mark Jackson, points by Oisin McGraynor, Kevin Quinn and Dean Healy have stole it at the death. They were behind most of the game but that won’t matter for Oisín McConville’s men, they’re through to the last four.
35 mins: Langan goes for a two-pointer but hits it right to the wide. Cork then wait for a chance of a score by the hooter, but miss.
Half-time: Donegal 1-7 Cork 0-5
Cork will be relatively satisfied to be only five behind given how the match has gone overall, but will have to improve in the second half if they are to get back into it.
33 mins: A bad miss by Cronin from a free where you’d expect him to score. Then Gallen has a chance for a fourth point of the game, but hits it wide.
28 mins: Nearly another goal for Donegal as they up the gears, Langan turns it over this time and Murphy had a chance to palm it but too many red jerseys in the way. Then a two-point free for Cork by Sherlock, again important to stay somewhat in it, but they’re being outplayed at the moment from general play.

Meanwhile, Tipperary are through to the All-Ireland minor hurling final, after beating Cork 5-18 to 2-19.

13 mins: Cork keep the ball for a long time, but don’t manage to set up a score, then Donegal counter with speed, Shane O’Donnell finishes it off.

9 mins: Good save by the Cork goalkeeper Doyle from McGonagle’s goal attempt, but Gallen knocks the follow-up over the bar. Then Gallen extends the lead to three with another nice score. Left foot, right foot, top forward play.

7 mins: Dara Sheedy, a late arrival in the starting team, with a nice score for Cork to briefly square the game, but Murphy responds off the ground for a one-pointer free to put Donegal back ahead.

3 mins: Early possession for Donegal, with Cork setting up tight. But they get the first score of the game, one-two between Ryan McHugh and O’Donnell and McHugh slots it over.

Cork and Donegal is off at 3pm at Ballybofey, while Antrim and Wicklow is under way for the second half, Antrim winning 1-7 to 0-9 at half-time.
Offaly have beaten Wexford and move into the Tailteann Cup semi-finals. Down and Wexford back-to-back wins is impressive and they’re into the last four there. Antrim’s Ryan McQuillan has scored a goal to make it 1-6 to 0-8 in that quarter-final after 33 mins.
Offaly have raced ahead in the last 10 minutes of their Tailteann Cup quarter-final against Wexford, and now lead by six points with 62 minutes on the clock. Antrim lead Wicklow by two points, 0-6 to 0-4 after 20 minutes.

Hello and welcome to live coverage of the All-Ireland SFC Round 2A and 2B, with eight teams in action on Saturday on what is a bumper day of GAA action across the country. We’ve also got the Tailteann Cup quarter-finals, the All-Ireland minor hurling semi-finals, women’s All-Ireland SFC, but we’ll mostly focus on the All-Ireland SFC, particularly the two televised games between Monaghan and Roscommon at 4.30pm and Derry and Meath at 7pm. There will be plenty of updates from the other two featuring Donegal and Cork and Kerry and Kildare too though to keep an eye on.
