Sir, – The Taoiseach’s comments the other week about the UK not being allowed in the airspace over Ireland, and the exposure of the Éire sign seem to be a portent of the future.
Maybe it is just a sign of the times, and of the new “Emergency” affecting Europe where the UK again stands alone and Ireland is telling the world where it stands. – Yours, etc,
