Sir, – So the Government plans to devolve the running of the health services to six regional areas ("Regional health areas to be introduced in 2023", News, April 5th ). Apart from the fact that this new structure seems very similar to the old health boards which were dissolved to make way for the centralised HSE, I note that your report also states that the HSE will continue in a "leaner" form with less "management and bureaucracy". The devil is in the detail! – Yours, etc,
