Sir, – The Attorney General is unhappy and disparaged the proposed Judicial Appointments Commission Bill ("Shane Ross's judges Bill a 'dog's dinner', claims Attorney General", Home News, March 24th).
While it is unusual for a Mr Woulfe to turn down a “ dog’s dinner ”, we can infer that his legal advice was not given “pro Bonio”. – Yours, etc,

Sir, – As a dog owner for many years, I would like to state that I have never offered any dog a dinner menu of an amended Judicial Appointments Commission Bill. Only if one of my children got that Bill for homework could it ever appear in a dog feed bowl. Unlikely. – Yours, etc,
