Sir, – What cretin in the world of culinary Christendom created the idea that cress would be an embellishment to any food item?

This intrusive faux garnish is usually found strangling eggs in a sandwich, from where it insinuates its green tentacles between and around your teeth like algae around a rock.

In wedding photos of smiling guests, it can be found wrestling with the components of egg mayonnaise for prominence.
