Sir, – Further to "UFO reported streaking across Irish skies on Friday morning" (News, November 12th), the Virgin pilot stated that the lights climbed upwards into the sky. How is this possible for a comet or meteorite and what law of physics allows a falling object to change direction and climb? – Yours, etc,
