Sir, – I note that many of your recent letter writers bemoan the destructive nature of the Bus Connects project in Dublin and its potential detrimental impact on our natural and architectural heritage, as well as on living communities and villages.
A letter writer (April 26th) described it a destructive “highway” of “two car lanes, two bus lanes, two cycle lanes, and reduced footpaths”.
Would it be presumptuous of me to assume that if we negated the impact by removing the two car lanes, all would be then in favour? – Yours, etc,
BRIAN McARDLE,
