Sir, – I thought it was just Malahide which had broken footpaths, collapsed kerbstones, tree roots pushing up the pavements, strips of slippery manhole covers, insufficient public toilets, broken glass, etc, on the beaches, but I’m sorry to see from recent letters to yourself that Dublin city and county is suffering from the same neglect.
Surprisingly, Fingal County Council is asking for submissions to a new development plan 2023-2029 while we are still waiting for many of the agreed works on the 2011-2017 development plan to be completed. – Yours, etc,
