A referendum on a referendum?

Sir, – Unlike our fair country, where an Irish solution can get over any obstacle, the UK government cannot ask its electorate to vote again on Brexit. It believes it cannot go back and keep asking until it gets the answer that it would like to have – and probably the answer that most UK citizens would now like to have.

What about having a referendum to see if the people wish to have another referendum on Brexit? If this were passed it could pave the way to a second Brexit referendum and possibly get them out of a bind. – Yours, etc,
