How can Americans stand by and let this happen?

Sir, - This morning, I spoke to a Ukrainian man delivering bread to Tesco in Rathcoole. He was empty of emotion. He didn’t mention the United States or Donald Trump, but he didn’t need to. His eyes said everything.

While Europe must do more, it beggars belief that Lindsey Graham’s carefully considered bipartisan bill is not being fully implemented and that the US is not providing every possible measure of support to help Ukraine resist Russia’s aggression.

Trump’s actions are shocking and dangerous. How can Americans, at home and abroad, stand by and allow this to continue? – Yours, etc,
