Sir, – In the name of St Christopher, who is the patron saint of road users, would the RSA or some other body demonstrate to motorists how to drive around a roundabout?
In recent times a number of Dublin roundabouts, which used have two lanes, both approaching and on the actual roundabout, have now been reduced to one lane.
Not only is it necessary to play chicken when darting out on to the roundabout, but one encounters some motorists with indicators signally left and some signalling right.
It’s only a matter of time before I encounter a motorist with the hazard lights signalling left and right at the same time, just to be sure, you know. An education video is urgently required? – Yours, etc,
