Sir, – Following the letter (June 16th) on e-scooters and traumatic injuries from a group of medical professionals who seem to know what they are talking about, l would like to propose a simple solution.
Register the scooters as powered vehicles and make them carry insurance like the rest of motorised vehicles.
That might stop most of the injuries and make the riders accountable. – Yours, etc,
