Dart hit by ‘severe delays’ after problem at Howth Junction

Services ran up to 30 minutes late after points problem on north side of line

Commuters in Dublin faced severe delays on Friday morning as a points problem disrupted Dart services through Howth Junction.

Iarnród Éireann said at about 7am there was no service through the station but that Dublin Bus would honour all rail tickets.

It said the issue was rectified around 9am but there were delays of up to 30 minutes for the rest of the morning.
