Tens of thousands of students took part in school strikes for action on climate change last Friday.
The protests, which coincided with a global protest in more than 100 countries, prompted by the school strike by Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg, attracted widespread media coverage and pledges from the Government to do more to tackle greenhouse gases. Similar protests are due next month.
We want to hear from students first-hand about why you protested on Friday: what action did you take? What steps do you want our policy-makers to take? And are you planning to keep protesting on a regular basis?
Join the debate and we’ll publish your responses over the coming days.
