Two men treated for stab wounds after Swords ‘altercation’

Two young men have been injured in a stabbing incident in Swords in north Co Dublin.

The two, aged 19 and 21, were wounded in what gardaí described as an altercation involving a number of people on Main Street in Swords at about 10.45pm on Tuesday.

The men were taken to Beaumont hospital for treatment but their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Gardaí have examined the scene but no arrests have yet been made in connection with the attacks.
