Two held after cannabis ‘growhouse’ uncovered in Co Kildare

Men in their 20s detained after plants valued at €164,000 found during Curragh search

Two men have been arrested as part of a Garda investigation into the sale and supply of drugs in the Kildare area.

The men, aged 27 and 29, were arrested following a search of a house at School Lane, The Curragh.

A cannabis growhouse operation was uncovered and gardaí valued the plants at some €164,000.

The men are being held at Newbridge Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
