Grand openings
The recently reopened Adare Manor is set to launch its Carriage House this spring, a one-storey building housing a bar, restaurant, lounge and private dining room, as well as a glazed terrace and outdoor cigar lounge. The new restaurant, designed by David Collins Studio, will host functions as well as serve lunchtime and evening meals and boasts as decadent an interior as the manor, with floor-to-ceiling hand-painted artwork, velvet upholstery and an enormous antique chandelier. Meanwhile, Lyrath Estate in Co Kilkenny also welcomes a new eatery this month with the opening of its 120-seater casual dining bistro, The Grill. For more visit adaremanor.com and lyrath.com.
