With Assemble winning the Turner Prize, architecture that might not actually involve building permanent things has never been more popular.

These days, creating shared experiences in unexpected spaces is just one of the ways architecture is reaching into the territory of art and further into people’s lives – but how do you get involved and, once involved, how do you get it right?

Create, in association with the Arts Council, has got together some very cool international practitioners to give the heads up and a head start. From next month, Todo Por La Praxis (Madrid), Kate Goodwin (London) and Teddy Cruz (San Diego) will be running talks and workshops, aimed at redefining how we look at spaces. Places are free but limited. To apply send a statement of interest at 250 words max by January 28th to Katherine Atkinson at extendingarchitecture@ gmail.com. See create-ireland.ie
