Auction of fine Chinese ceramics and works of art – 14 lots are from the collection of Sir Alfred Beit, late of Russborough House, Co Wicklow including "a rare coral ground famille- verte bowl" and "a black-ground famille-rose bowl" (see photos) – with Yongzheng marks and period (1723-1735) – and each estimated at £80,000- £120,000 (€95,000- €143,000); A pair of famille-rose "balsam pear" bowls, Qianlong seal marks and period (1736-1795) £40,000- £60,000 ( €48,000- €71,000).
