The Irishman killed in a crash in Thailand on St Patrick’s Day has been named in Thailand as Neil More O’Ferrall (54).
Mr More O’Ferrall, from Glenmalure, Co Wicklow, died after being hit by an SUV in the town of Khao Lak in Phang Nga province on St Patrick’s Day.
The incident occurred close to the Sangsawan Palace Resort, according to local media. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
The Phuket News reported Mr More O’Ferrall was allegedly struck by a car travelling at speed on the main road through Khao Lak at about 9pm on March 17th.

Citing Thai police, the publication said he was taken to the Khao Lak medical centre where efforts were made to resuscitate him. However, he was pronounced dead at about 9.40pm.
Mr More O’Ferrall was the founder of RecoveryCBD, a business selling legal cannabidiol oil products based in Glenmalure in Co Wicklow. The products are regulated by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland as food supplements.
The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed it is aware of this case and is providing consular assistance.
