A man who was assaulted outside a public house in Dublin 15 late on Sunday night has died, gardaí have confirmed.
The man in his 40s suffered what gardaí believe was a so-called one-punch attack. outside the Clonsilla Inn just after 11pm.
He died at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown on Thursday night.
A Garda appeal for witnesses has been renewed, and family liaison officer has been assigned to support the family of the deceased.

A man in his 20s was arrested in connection with the incident and appeared before Blanchardstown District Court last Tuesday.
Gardaí are seeking anyone who was in the vicinity of the premises at the time of the incident to come forward.
They are also appealing to anyone with camera footage, including motorists with dashcam footage from Clonsilla Road between the junctions of Shelerin Road and Porterstown Road at the time to contact them.
In particular, gardaí are appealing to an off-duty medical professional that provided medical assistance at the scene to make himself known to gardaí in Blanchardstown.
