A man has died following a road crash in north Co Dublin on Friday morning.
The incident involved three vehicles and happened on the R129 at Thomondstown near Blakes Cross at around 10am.
A man, aged in his 60s, who was driving one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman who was travelling in one of the other vehicles was taken to hospital with what gardaí described as non-fatal injuries.

“The R129 is currently closed at Blakes Cross to facilitate a technical examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Diversions are in place,” gardaí said in a statement.
The force appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have relevant camera footage taken in the area between 9.30am and 10am, to come forward.

Earlier on Friday, two people died and two others were injured in a single vehicle crash in Co Carlow.
