Zartis. com, a recruitment software firm backed by Enterprise Ireland, AIB and Seán O'Sullivan's SOSventures, has formed a joint venture to target the Moscow jobs market.

The firm, which is led by John Dennehy, announced yesterday it had teamed up with Russian technology human resources veteran Artem Zurukin to form the new business called Zartis.ru.

"There's a very strong culture fit between Artem and his team in Moscow and our team in Cork, Ireland. Even already we're seeing Russian employers interested in using our service when they're expanding into new European cities," Mr Dennehy said.

“The service is perfectly suited to Moscow where demand for highly skilled software developers is constantly increasing.”

“The recruitment market in Moscow alone is about three times the size of Ireland,” Mr Dennehy said. “Like everywhere in the developed world there’s a shortage of highly skilled software developers and demand is outstripping supply in key areas.”
