Storm Technology, a business tech consultancy that specialises in Microsoft products, is to create an additional 60 jobs in Dublin and Galway.
The company was founded in 1985 by Karl Flannery. Its clients include AIB, CIÉ, Topaz, Kerry Group and Volkswagen.
Storm, which currently employs just under 100 people, said the planned expansion was due to a growing demand for its digital transformation advisory and implementation services.
The new positions are across a number of areas and include opportunities for senior managers, digital business consultants, change management experts and software professionals.
“It’s great to bring new job opportunities to the market as a result of the ongoing growth of our business. We have been successfully achieving double-digit growth over the past five years and our plans are to double that over the next three years,” said Mr Flannery.
Storm, which had assets of €4.6 million at the end of last year, reported a €2.4 million gross profit for 2016.
