Samsung Electronics has built wireless charging into its latest flagship products - the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge.
The new smartphones were unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Samsung said a charge of just 10 minutes can keep both devices running for four hours.
Both phones have a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front snapper, for capturing the perfect selfie.
Samsung also announced it will work with Swedish furniture maker Ikea on in-home wireless-charging technology for smart devices.
“This is a perfect match for the Galaxy S6 and its groundbreaking wireless technology, compatible with any wireless pad in the market, including the new furniture from Ikea. Through this, Samsung and Ikea are helping consumers live a more comfortable life at home,” Samsung said.
Ikea will build wireless charging technology directly into its home furnishings, turning bedside tables, lamps and desks into charging spots.
"We know that people hate cable mess...our innovative new solutions, which integrate wireless charging into home furnishings, will make life at home simpler," said Jeanette Skjelmose, business and area manager, lighting and wireless charging at Ikea.
Samsung said the new line-up of furniture will be available in North America and Europe from April of this year.
