Jury selection begins in Tesco fraud case

Prosecution expected to open on Wednesday

Jury selection has begun in the UK for the trial of three former Tesco executives over the £326 million accounting scandal at the supermarket.

Carl Rogberg, 50, Chris Bush, 51, and John Scouler, 49, are charged with fraud by abuse of position and false accounting. They deny the charges against them.

Judge Deborah Taylor told potential jurors to return to Southwark Crown Court on Tuesday at 10am when selection will continue.

The prosecution case is expected to open on Wednesday.
