Former Fine Gael TD appointed director at DHR Communications

Former Fine Gael TD Olwyn Enright has been appointed a director at public relations firm DHR Communications.

She will join the team in early November, focusing on public affairs, advocacy and engagement strategies, media and communications training and reputation management.

Ms Enright has worked in public affairs and communications since 2011, providing strategic advice and analysis to senior teams in both the public and private sectors.

Prior to this, she served as a Fine Gael TD for the Laois Offaly constituency for nine years. She was a member of the Fine Gael front bench for most of her time as a TD, serving as spokesperson on education and science, and on social protection.

She has also served on a number of Oireachtas committees, including the Public Accounts Committee. She was previously a member of Offaly County Council and the Midland Regional Authority.

Ms Enright said: “Throughout my career I have sought to work in the public interest and working with DHR will allow me to focus on public interest communications across a variety of areas.”
