Annual corporate quiz was won by ABP Food Group

The Business Journalists Association of Ireland has raised €48,000 for the Dublin Simon Community at its annual corporate challenge quiz.

Held on Thursday at the Radisson Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin, this is the 15th year that the quiz has taken place. The event has raised €448,000 for Dublin Simon Community to date.

Following a tense tiebreaker, ABP Food Group was the overall winner of the quiz, beating stiff competition from Wilson Hartnell and other teams to win a Waterford Crystal trophy.

The teams impressed by scoring 48 points out of a possible 64.

RTÉ's Bryan Dobson returned as quizmaster and Mr Justice Peter Kelly of the Court of Appeal adjudicated. BT Ireland and DAA both supported the event with the Reputations Agency assisting.
