Boris Johnson may, or may not, have stuck his fingers in his ears and hummed England's national anthem during negative Brexit briefings from civil servants in the past, but the Tories are certainly listening now, according to Irish Times columnist Chris Johns.

On the latest Inside Business podcast, he joins host Laura Slattery and Cliff Taylor to discuss the 'Great Brexit Fudge' and an apparent comeback by British prime minister Theresa May.

Bitcoin craze

In the second half of the show, Irish Times Stocktake columnist Proinsias O'Mahony explains the background to the Bitcoin craze and compares it to bubbles of the past, amid warnings from the likes of JP Morgan Chase chief executive Jamie Dimon, business magnate Warren Buffett and billionaire investor Howard Marks.

Ryanair also features on today's podcast, with Barry O'Halloran reporting on the threat of strike action by the airline's pilots.
