A well located development site at the main gateway to Naas, Co Kildare, is back on the market through joint agents Knight Frank and CME Auctioneers with a guide price of €3 million.

It adjoins an almost similar size property where a €5 million sale has just been agreed.

The site extends to 15.8 acres and is located opposite the “Big Ball” landmark at junction 9 of the M7/N7.

A derelict warehouse and office building on the site was formerly used for the manufacture of car mirrors by Magna Donnelly.

The joint agents say that under “enterprise and employment” zoning the site could be used for a petrol station, car sales, offices and industrial facilities. It occupies a prominent location and could easily be subdivided because of its 260 metres frontage on to the Naas Road and its convenient layout. Nearby occupiers include Storm Cinemas, the Maudlins House Hotel and two car dealerships.
