UK and Irish property consultancies Carter Jonas and Ganly Walters have formed a strategic alliance as both firms aim to enhance their international capabilities.
The businesses have already partnered on a number of international initiatives including the current sale of a limestone quarry portfolio in the Republic and tenant representation assignments for corporate occupiers.
Mark Granger, chief executive at Carter Jonas, said the two companies were like-minded, privately owned businesses offering complementary services in the commercial, residential and rural sectors.
Robert Ganly, managing director of Ganly Walters, said that with an increasing number of sterling-based buyers entering the Irish market, the need to reach international buyers and advise their clients overseas was becoming ever more important.
The new alliance would give Ganly Walters direct access to its UK network and its employee expertise located in 36 offices across the country.
