Engineering company Leo Lynch is planning a major expansion in the UK and Europe, with staff numbers expected to grow by 40 per cent within two years.
The company, which currently employs 350 people, said it expects the number of staff to reach 500 by the end of 2025. The expansion comes following an investment in Leo Lynch last year by Cathexis, which saw the US fund take a majority stake in the Irish company.
“We have built up a strong platform for growth, bolstering our teams, systems, and capability to expand into the UK and Europe with existing and new clients,” said Philip Smith, managing director of Leo Lynch.
The company is also targeting revenues of €100 million by end of 2025.

As part of the expansion, Leo Lynch will also undergo a rebrand.
“This rebrand reflects our ambition to scale with our clients into new markets and to become a leading provider of process and mechanical engineering services across Europe,” said Mr Smith. “We have a strong track record of delivering quality, safety, and efficiency on highly specialised projects in high-growth sectors, and we are confident that this rebrand will help drive that message at home and overseas.”
