EY has announced its commercial sponsorship of the Junior Ryder Cup (JRC). The agreement will see EY become the presenting partner of the next JRC, which takes place in Ireland in 2027 at Ballyneety Golf Course and Adare Manor, in Co Limerick.
The competition mirrors the iconic Ryder Cup event, with teams from the United States and Europe competing head-to-head. Distinctively, the competition features mixed teams of young men and women in a 50:50 split, aged 18 years or under, showcasing the very best emerging talent in golf.
Announcing the sponsorship, Frank O’Keeffe, managing partner of EY Ireland, said: “EY is proud to sponsor the Junior Ryder Cup at Ballyneety Golf Course and Adare Manor. At EY, we are committed to creating pathways for young talent to succeed and to broadening access to high-performance sport. This is more than a sponsorship, it’s an investment in the next generation. We believe in providing young athletes with the opportunity to build resilience, to grow through teamwork and to lead with confidence.
“Junior Ryder Cup has given us numerous sporting greats, including our own Rory McIlroy and Leona Maguire, who have gone on to represent Europe in the Ryder and the Solheim Cups. Providing a platform where young men and women can experience real matchplay pressure is something we feel is worthy of investment. I am very proud for EY to be able to play our part by supporting the Junior Ryder Cup in this way.”

Attending the sponsorship event, professional golfer and former captain of Ryder Cup Europe, Paul McGinley, said: “I am very pleased to be named as a brand ambassador for EY and its partnership with the Junior Ryder Cup. This partnership is a real vote of confidence by EY not only in junior golf but in our younger sports men and women generally.”
The Junior Ryder Cup is a prelude to the iconic Ryder Cup, being played in the days prior to the first practice day of the senior competition. The final day singles matches of JRC will be played at Adare Manor, Co Limerick, where the Ryder Cup is played, offering an unparalleled and unforgettable experience for the junior players who will get to compete in front of a Ryder Cup crowd on a Ryder Cup course; something that will be a defining moment in their sporting lives.
