Full-bodied dread: Nightmares over French wine producers’ move

Sir, – I see that French wine producers are about to start converting their excess supplies of wine into ethanol (“Struggling French vineyards turn excess wine into ethanol”, April 3rd).

I’m going to have nightmares about this. – Yours, etc.
