Sir, – And now we have Ryanair joining the parade, encouraging all of humankind to purchase a mind-rotting smartphone.
Have you not looked around recently and seen how folk no longer talk, no longer acknowledge the presence of a fellow traveller, no longer allow themselves to use some of the greatest assets with which we are blessed – memory, remembering, thinking and contemplating, communicating with fellow humans?
Instead, we have become a species with tiny thumbs enslaved to endless and useless information flow to rectangular hands. Ryanair, you may argue you are saving paper and time, but you have joined the movement to dehumanise us all. – Yours, etc,
