Gardaí have appealed for information on a white Audi believed to have been used in the murder of Paul Kavanagh in Drumcondra, Dublin, last week.

The car, an Audi A1 with a registration number 142-D-4628, was stolen in Dublin on March 11th.

It was found burnt out near the scene of the murder, Church Avenue, Drumcondra, on March 26th

Gardaí said they wanted to hear from anyone who may have information on the car’s whereabouts and movements between March 11th and the morning of March 26th.

Investigating Gardaí are particularly interested in sightings of the car in and around the Drumcondra area on the morning of the incident, March 26th.

Gardaí believe Kavanagh was ambushed in a well-planned attack by killers who had him under surveillance at the rented house he shared with his partner and two young children.

The victim had only minor convictions for road traffic and public order offences, but was suspected of involvement in drug-related organised crime.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Ballymun Garda Station 01-6664400 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
