Limerick-based software company Macmarts has announced that it will begin selling its project management software in the Irish and UK markets.
Spun out of Limerick entrepreneur Michael McNamara’s Macnovate company, MacMarts recently moved to a new 12,000sq ft space at the National Technology Park in Castletroy, where it plans to create 40 additional jobs in the county over the next three years to help deliver its service in Ireland.
“The new positions will cover a range of roles including product management, software engineering, sales, marketing and customer success,” said the company.

Macmarts’ core product is called SpendBooks, a cloud-based budget management application for large manufacturing companies in sectors like pharmaceuticals and medtech. But the company said it is also launching ProjectBooks, which it describes as “a cloud-based project resource management application”.
