Bike Week is an annual celebration promoting the joys of cycling and is easy, fun and for everyone! Happening this year from May 10th to 18th throughout Ireland, free events and activities will be on offer for all cycling levels and abilities.
For the seasoned cyclist to complete newbies, we have a wide range of events such as beginner cycling and safety workshops – to BMX and greenway spins.
We also have a number of events that are inclusive, family and age friendly that take place in supportive and welcoming environments. There really is something for everyone.
Hundreds of events, which are organised by local authorities and sports partnerships, will be taking place across the country during the week.

How can I get involved?
You won’t have to travel far to join a Bike Week event, as events are taking place across the country. Highly anticipated events such as family bike festivals, community rides and greenway cycles are making a return, alongside Bike-to-Work Day on Wednesday, May 14th.
Even if you don’t own a bike or yours needs fixing, there are options available, including bike hire and maintenance workshops nationwide. There’s no shortage of ways to participate.
