CRICKET:Ireland international George Dockrell helped Somerset to the top of Division One of the County Championship with a five-wicket victory over Durham at Taunton.

The 19-year-old left-arm spinner completely changed the game in the space of 10 deliveries as he took four wickets for no runs as Durham collapsed from 131 for four to 131 for eight. The Dubliner wasn’t finished and took the final two wickets to finish with figures of six for 29, his second six-wicket haul of the season.

Meanwhile, Ireland A, who went down to an eight-wicket victory to Kent seconds in Maidstone yesterday, have made a number of changes to their squad for next week’s game against Gloucestershire in Bath

Tom Fisher, Allan Eastwood, Andrew Poynter, Lee Nelson and Scott Campbell drop out, with Andrew Balbirnie, Ben Ackland, Shane Getkate, Max Sorensen and Andrew Britton coming in.
