Sir, – The recent meeting between Viktor Orbán and Vladimir Putin in China was a shocking reminder, if one was needed, that Hungary should be suspended from the EU and Nato. Fraternising with a mass murderer, a war criminal and a dictator whose admitted aim is the destruction of democracy in Europe is outrageous.
All European leaders should call him out and move to have Moscow’s puppet removed from any further involvement in formulating EU and Nato policy regarding Ukraine. – Yours, etc,
