What is your worst airline food experience? Did you have a food or drink disaster on board a flight that you’d like to share?
One of our readers told this week of dozing off on a transatlantic Aer Lingus flight but missing out on food because she was asleep when dinner was served. The airline’s cabin crew do not wake passengers for food and for health and safety reasons don’t reheat meals/leave them untattended.
There was strong reaction to this story and as many of us head abroad on our holidays, we’d like to hear of your experiences.
Have you had any problems with airline food or drink? Can you describe it in detail or send us a photograph?

Have you seen a notable difference between the food on the menu and what landed on your tray when 30,000ft in the air?
Have you been left hungry by inedible food or missed out on a meal in-flight? Have you ever been on a lengthy flight that had no food available? How long was the flight and where were you going? Tell us how the airline or crew responded if you complained?

What do you think of the overall quality and price of airline food and drink? Or do you always bring your own food on board a plane?
